Performing, Playing, and Living Life To The Max With Max Rooke. Max is an author, motivational speaker, D1 women’s assistant soccer coach at Pepperdine University, and a former professional soccer player.

We dive deep into his book Max Moments. What is a Max Moment? Max describes it as an insight, a moment when everything changes and you look at everything differently. Max spent his life studying why people do what they do and what the very best do differently. The book will help challenge you to think differently. 

In ten seasons as the associate head coach at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, Max has been a part of five NCAA Tournament teams and two WCC titles. Before that, Max Played collegiately for Mercer University. His professional experience stretches overseas, where he was a Great Britain National Soccer Team member, played in two world championships, and played professionally with Reading Football Club.

The conversation explores the themes of high performance, habits, and team culture. Rooke shares insights from his book ‘Max Moments’ and discusses the importance of living life to the fullest, creating small shifts for extraordinary results, and connecting the dots in our life experiences. He emphasizes the power of resilience, gratitude, and finding meaning in difficult moments. Max also touches on the key elements of a great team culture, including a higher purpose and developing individuals of character.
